Beautiful 1 bed cottage on a small farm that keeps Alpacas & a rare breed of black sheep.. The cottage was extremely well furnished and the kitchen area included a dishwasher and washing machine.
The luxury bathroom had a walk in shower. Although a bit off the beaten track the quietness of the location and beautiful views
from its high vantage point made it ideal for those looking for a peaceful holiday. It's just a 10min drive to Ross-on-Wye and 5mins drive
to the Mill Race, the nearest Pub/restaurant. A friendly place recommended for meals. Also worth visiting is the No.3 Restaurant in Ross-on-Wye.
Paul and Edwina made us feel very welcome. A nice touch was the welcome basket which included some local goodies.
A bonus for keen gardeners is Howle Hill Nursery, just a couple of minutes walk away.
This is a gardener's paradise which has won 9 gold medals at the Chelsea Flower show, so well worth a visit.
We had a week of hot sunny weather so the coolness of the cottage with its thick walls, made coming back to it
after a day touring around, a pleasure.
Highly recommended.
