The iconic Goodrich Castle sits within the village, standing in open countryside above the River Wye, Goodrich Castle is one of the finest and best preserved of all English medieval castles. The village is also home to the delightful village hall, and two pubs serving food. Close by, overlooking a large loop in the River Wye, is the historic market town of Ross-on-Wye, in the heart of rural Herefordshire.
