Visit Goodrich Castle, established in 1095 set majestically within a wooded hill, and the spectacular views from Symonds Yat Rock are not to be missed. Spend a day kayaking down the River Wye or have a day out at Eastnor Castle full of fun activities for the family. Herefordshire is a great place for those food lovers with lots of lovely gourmet pubs just a short drive away, and the Abergavenny Food Festival. Take the track across the meadow where you will see the first glimpse of the cottage through the weeping willow. Need to get some work done? A desk can be added in the conservatory where you can work from home and take in the stunning views. (must be requested at time of booking) The lounge offers a wood burner that s perfect for a chilly autumn or winter evening catching up with friends whilst relaxing on the cosy sofas. A set of fully glazed doors offer stunning views and access to the patio or draw the curtains and settle in for a cosy night in front of the Smart TV. On the ground floor you will also find a shower room with shower and WC. On the first floor you will find three bedrooms, a king size room enjoying a dual aspect windows with stunning views and en suite shower room and WC. There is also a cosy king size bedroom and a further bedroom with king size bed (which can be made up as a twin on request). Inspired by the farms strong sustainability ethos, the owners have installed a wood fired hot tub where you can sit and watch the sunset or gaze at the stars over Herefordshire and Wales. For the competitive amongst you there is a games room with multi games table including pool, air hockey and table tennis. There is ample off road parking and storage for bikes and kayaks.
