This charming, tranquil holiday destination is situated between the historic market towns of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth, which serve the village with local amenities. The town of Monmouth is full of wonderful historical architecture – timbered Tudor buildings, striking seventeenth century market halls and majestic bridges line the winding streets of this picture-perfect town. Goodrich Castle is also nearby, providing a perfect example of a twelfth century Marcher Castle whilst alternatively, visitors could enjoy walks along the River Wye or along Offa's Dyke and the Wye Valley. With so much to see and do in this area, there's bound to be something to suit every taste and budget.
