Hay-on-Wye is a market town on the Welsh/English border, on the edge of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park (Brecon Beacons National Park). The town has book shops, antique shops, eateries, and is surrounded by countryside which provides walking, cycling, birdwatching, fishing and canoeing opportunities. There are also a range of attractions nearby; the Black Mountains, The Three Castles Walk, Eastnor Castle, the Offa's Dyke Path and the Mortimer Trail.
