Stargazer’s Loft is a very comfortable and well equipped cottage.. It is quiet and surrounded by fields and open countryside. The owner made us very welcome and provided lots of information about local walks and local pubs and restaurants. The cottage is very convenient for Hay-on-Wye, and for both the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons.

Lovely peaceful cottage.. Lounge much bigger than expected. Bathroom lovely and modern. Bedroom large and comfortable. Kitchen area had everything you needed and lovely Eccles cakes plus jug of milk on arrival. Beautiful vases of flowers in lounge and bedroom was a thoughtful touch. Plenty of room for hanging clothes and small walk in wardrobe handy to store shoes and bags etc. Lovely views overlooking the countryside and in the warmer weather chairs and tables outside. A car would be recommended as nearest town of hay on Wye was about 3 miles away and 2 pubs within 2 and 3 miles. Plenty of walks and cycling paths from Brecon to do. All in all a lovely few days in Wales.

The proprietors made us very welcome and although living next door and always happy to answer our queries, afforded us our privacy. Their local knowledge was very good for our favourite pastimes of walking and eating out. Would definitely recommend this property to friends.

Liked the accommodation and the area. The apartment was great - full of character and very comfortable and cosy. The kitchen was sufficiently equipped and the bed was very comfortable. Was there during November and it was lovely and warm, and we could control the heating also which was very useful. The owners were great, friendly but respectful of your privacy. The WiFi was very useful. It was easy to get to loads of places and there was a bus stop right outside for those not wishing to use the car.

Small, but perfectly formed, Stargazer's Loft is well equipped and nicely furnished, with a very comfy bed. A generous welcome-pack was an unexpected bonus and kick-started what turned out to be a marvellous week's stay.

Had a wonderful holiday, very high quality accommodation - felt like staying in a luxury hotel! Spectacular countryside around, and loved the unspoilt feel of Hay on Wye, nice to visit a town without a Costa Coffeee or Starbucks in sight!
Really friendly and helpful owners who tolerated a 4 year old straying into their 'private living areas' and lovely friendly animals around, particularly the lovely sausage dog.
