To the outside of the cottage is off road parking for 1 car and a landscaped garden with furniture. The Old Reading Room is suitable for family or couples who enjoy walking and being close to nature.

Area A rural coastal village, with much charm that is set in a West Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with an elevated position above the Fleet Lagoon and Chesil Beach. Known as a Thankful Village, as all men returned from both World Wars, Langton Herring is dotted with pretty thatched cottages and the local pub boasts connections to smugglers and their contraband! A stroll along the adjacent coastal path provides you with spectacular views across the Fleet Lagoon, home to many migrant birds, whilst a trip to nearby Abbotsbury, with its swannery and sub tropical gardens is a must. Visit Weymouth and explore its bustling harbour or just soak up the sun enjoying the watersports and numerous attractions. Should you tire of all this take the scenic coastal journey towards West Bay, the setting for TV’s Broadchurch series. A picturesque village offering a peaceful West Dorset holiday base, which you won’t want to leave!

The heating wasn't working.. Your staff tried to resolve the issue with the owner. An engineer did come out to fix it but it still wasn't working properly. Also the cleanliness of the cottage was not great. I will be emailing you with a proper complaint.
