Area Cove Castle is the locals favourite beach area, sitting along side the Rodwell trail area, Cove Castle Beach is usually uncrowded, and offers safe bathing from it’s gently sloping shoreline. CoveCastle and Sandsfoot beach sit side by side, both with soft golden sand and the vibe of the best kept secret. Sandsfoot castle is just two minutes’ walk from the beach where you will find castle ruins, pretty award-winning gardens and a small café, offering snacks, drinks and ice-creams. Accessed off Old Castle Road in Weymouth, this area is a real treat for those who want to be away from the buzz and bright lights of the traditional Weymouth Seafront, and yet close enough to venture there when they choose. When you are on the beach you could be forgiven for thinking you are miles from town, and yet you are only a 15-20 minute walk from the old Harbour and access to Weymouth town centre. If you want to know where the locals would recommend you spend your beach days, then Cove Castle and Sandsfoot beaches are it.

One of the reasons we rented Lookout was that it had a dishwasher but we soon realised it wasn’t working correctly! After consulting the instruction manual we went out & purchased dishwasher salt & rinse aid but this didn’t make it any better. By the second week we had given up on the dishwasher & had reverted to hand washing the dishes etc which we hadn’t really anticipated & found it to be a chore - not what we wanted on holiday! I think the machine needs a service or replacement.

Just a couple of things.. The sliding patio door onto the balcony is extremely stiff to open. Maybe it could do with a bit of grease or something.
Also we had one very windy night and the side entrance gate kept blowing and banging open. On inspection the latches are broken/missing andlooks like they have been for a while. This also means anyone could walk to the rear of the property.
