Tavern way is a stone terraced cottage situated in the village of Corfe Castle near to the town of Wareham in Dorset and benefits from large garden with castle views. The cottage can sleep 4 people in double and twin single bedrooms as well as a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of a galley kitchen, a sitting/dining room. To the outside of the cottage is roadside parking subject to availability and a lawned fenced garden with furniture. Tavern way is suitable for couples or families who enjoy being surrounded by rolling hills in a historic site.

Area
Cove Castle is the locals favourite beach area, sitting along side the Rodwell trail area, Cove Castle Beach is usually uncrowded, and offers safe bathing from it’s gently sloping shoreline. CoveCastle and Sandsfoot beach sit side by side, both with soft golden sand and the vibe of the best kept secret. Sandsfoot castle is just two minutes’ walk from the beach where you will find castle ruins, pretty award-winning gardens and a small café, offering snacks, drinks and ice-creams. Accessed off Old Castle Road in Weymouth, this area is a real treat for those who want to be away from the buzz and bright lights of the traditional Weymouth Seafront, and yet close enough to venture there when they choose. When you are on the beach you could be forgiven for thinking you are miles from town, and yet you are only a 15-20 minute walk from the old Harbour and access to Weymouth town centre. If you want to know where the locals would recommend you spend your beach days, then Cove Castle and Sandsfoot beaches are it.

WE THOUGHT THIS COTTAGE WAS OUT OF THIS WORLD, EVERY THING WAS TOP QUALITY, NOTHING TO FAULT OUR SMALL DOG HAD THE TIME OF HIS LIFE WITH THE LARGE GARDEN AND THE FIELD BEYOND THAT.. EASY PARKING, THE NEIGHBOURS WHERE VERY HELPFUL. TRANSPORT TO EVERYWHERE, WILL HAVE TO LOOK VERY HARD TO BEAT IT.

We had a lovely stay at this comfortable and homely house.. It was on a main road but we were told this before booking, but as there was parking just outside this wasn't a problem. It had a lovely garden which led onto the Halves(green land between the two roads), and from here you can walk for miles. This is a huge bonus especially if you have dogs like us. The house had everything you needed, was warm and had excellent Wifi which was a bonus for our son. Would definately return to this great house and stunning area. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
