Cottage lovely and homely glad we found this cottage as last minute yes it was quiet beaches and amenities not far away cottage spotless well equipped I forgot my mat to go in Bath I didn't need it as one provided tea coffee milk & biscuits there on arrival thankyou stairs were steep but ok bed a bit soft for us we still slept there was enough room for two cars while there we went to Poole Bournemouth Weymouth Durdle Door & monkey world we were lucky with the weather nice part of the world

Really comfortable cosy cottage with good beds in a beautiful area for walking.. The open fire in the cool evenings was a plus point.

Had a very enjoyable week, Poppy Cottage was good and comfortable.. However I found that the toilet did not flush properly. I mentioned this to the owner Jean before we left. Also the quilt in the single bedroom was not like the one that was on the double bed. It was lumpy, and did not provide for an adequate covering, and needs to be replaced. Overcame this problem by using the throw over on the 2nd night. Please note that this was not a major issue. Nevertheless, that aside, a nice comfortable cottage in a nice quiet location with all the home comforts and facilities. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. ***Owner Response*** We are really pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Poppy Cottage. Thank you for your suggestions, we have now changed the single duvet and sorted the toilet flush out.

Poppy cottage was perfect for our family holiday. The cottage had everything we needed, was clean and well kept. Our host was fantastic, and was available to give advise as needed. We will definitely stay here again when we next visit the area.

A lovely cottage, small but perfectly formed. Well equipped with plenty of local information which was great for planning our walks. Peaceful and comfortably furnished and great to be able to light a fire in the evenings.
