1 Top View Cottages, located in a quieter part of Salcombe on Bonaventure Road, is within a ten-minute downhill walk of Salcombe’s renowned waterfront and boutique shops. It sleeps six over three bedrooms with two bathrooms, a generous kitchen and open plan lounge / dining room with a fabulous wood burning stove. Outside is a good-sized garden with a south-facing terrace to enjoy the summer sunshine, and a lawn with garden furniture and a barbeque. Within easy reach of sandy beaches, 1 Top View Cottages is ideal for a family break.

Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.
