Area Salcombe is a popular destination for watersports enthusiasts, walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea. There are several pretty beaches within a short distance, including North Sands and South Sands, plus the coves East Portlemouth on the opposite side of the estuary, just a short passenger ferry ride away. Also on your doorstep is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, coasteering, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe, take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking on the South West Coast path.

Great cottage, very comfortable, nicely decorated.. Lovely garden. It had everything we needed.

When we hired this cottage last year it was spotless but this time it looked like corners had been cut.. The microwave was very mucky and some of the plates and cutlery were not clean. Also I was expecting a few dishwasher tablets and at least one toilet roll in each bathroom. I know that you have very high standards and I will definitely recommend you and plan to return to Salcombe but was a little disappointed with the slip in standards.
