A repeat visit for us - we also stayed a week in 2022,
Again, a thoroughly enjoyable week - aided by extraordinarily gorgeous weather.
Once again we used the proximity of the railway station (two minute's walk) to visit Exeter, Plymouth, Dawlish, Teignmouth amongst other locations - fabulous scenery from the trains and, using a railcard, great value....£12 for two people day return to Exeter. We used several www, treasuretrails .co.uk - we love them and they show you areas you might otherwise miss.
The house is clean and well presented, also well-stocked. The Sky TV (basic functions including recording) and the Alexa are nice touches, and the shower is hot and adequately powerful. Parking outside is a bit of a lottery but the newly-introduced parking passes help a lot.
As I suggested last year, don't judge the street (nothing special) but wait until you are inside the very pleasing accomodation.
A couple of minutes walk not only to the station but also a Marks & Spencer Food Hall , bus stops, the town ventre, pubs and restaurants.
