All on one level, Little Waycroft is situated in a peaceful, rural location between the popular seaside resort of Dawlish and the village of Starcross, just thirty minute's drive from Exeter. This villa style property is incredibly spacious both inside and out, sharing two acres of grounds with the friendly owners. Inside, the enormous kitchen has a table, chairs and comfy sofa. From the adjacent lounge, sliding doors open onto a private, decked terrace - south facing, not overlooked, with wonderful views, this is an ideal spot to dine outdoors or enjoy the sun.

Area
Dawlish Warren has shops, a golf course and a nature reserve. The beach is Blue Flag backed by dunes and lakes, stretching for miles to the Exe Estuary in one direction and Dawlish town in the other. Dawlish Warren has a railway station on the Exeter-Newton Abbot line, one of the most scenic railway journeys in the country.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

We have just returned from a week's holiday and am missing it already. Ali and Jamie were the perfect hosts, not forgetting Eve, and of course Stanley the dog. The property was extremely quiet, spacious and clean with everything you need for self catering. There is a shower room and a bathroom with a corner bath. The views are amazing, the property is in a country lane with plenty of passing places. A very good base for exploring the surrounding areas of Devon, Dorset and Cornwall. There are a few pubs locally and a Sainsbury's food and petrol station just down the road. A truly relaxing holiday destination, which we hope to return to in the future.

We booked the Little Waycroft last minute as soon as the lockdown measures were relaxed. We are so glad we did. Very spacious. Everything you need to self cater. Very clean. Beautiful setting and so lovely to see the horses, rabbits, foxes and endless birds visiting. Really good base from which to explore the area. Torquay, cockington Forge, Paignton, Brixham, Ashburton, Dawlish, Dawlish Warren and Dartmoor. All offer something different but equally enjoyable. Great walks in the area and we were blessed with pleasant weather. Perfect week in a perfect place. Thank you.

Wonderful welcome from owners with scones, jam and cream , plus milk in the fridge and some daffodils in a vase.. Great location. Train stations handy at Starcross and Dawlish. A number of good places to eat in the evenings and a Supermarket approx 2 miles away to get food if you want to eat in. Perfect!

Our 10th annual visit.. Kitchen has been recently renewed following a water leak, and is looking really nice. Friendly family hostsand a lovely cream tea waiting for us in the fridge. Thoroughly recommended.

The settee was not comfy.. A manual recliner is not good for me.apart from that all was okay. a long walk to the main rd if didn't want to drive.A very nice couple who own the house and a very big thank you to ali and jamie.

This is the best cottage we have stayed in.. A great welcome on arrival from Ali, Jamie,Eve and Stanley.the cottage is wonderful, Very clean and modern with a fully equipped kitchen with all new appliances.It is set in a lovely big garden with fantastic views from your own private terrace,the bedroom is very large with en suite bathroom.The bed is to die for King size with deep memory foam topper so comfortable just like being at home great nights sleep.There is also a shower room with toilet and hand basin.The cream tea on arrival was very welcome,many thanks for a fantastic stay.see you next year,already booked.From Dave and Irene.

As soon as you walk through the door of this cottage your breath is taken away, from the little welcoming touches of flowers in a vase on the table to scones with clotted cream, jam, tea bags, sugar and a small bottle of milk.. The high standard of cleanliness, the fantastic views from the front room overlooking fields, the friendliness and very knowledgeable owners, made our stay of two weeks a real pleasurable experience.

We have stayed in a number of holiday cottages over the years and this is the best. It is spotless and very spacious. Standing in a couple of acres of garden with your own private terrace the views are to die for. If you are intending to visit this part of Devon you will not find a better property. Book it before someone else does
