The Tamar Lakes are only 3 miles away, offering fishing and a variety of activities, while Bude, with its excellent surfing, rocky coves, golf course, and restaurants, is just south-west. Several excellent stretches of the SW Coast Path, the beaches at Sandy Mouth and Welcombe Mouth, Hartland Point Quay and Lighthouse, and the lovely cliff-side village of Clovelly, as well as bike riding on the Tarka Trail, are just a few of the attractions in this fascinating area that should not be missed.
