Little Willesleigh is a superb wing to the owners' home situated in the village of Goodleigh, three miles from Barnstaple. This single-storey cottage sleeps two people and has a zip/link super king-size double bedroom with en-suite shower, an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric fire and a conservatory with comfy seating. Outside there's off road parking for one car and an enclosed, side lawned garden with patio and furniture. Little Willesleigh is a wonderful holiday home for a couple.

Area
The busy coastal town of Barnstaple is situated at the mouth of the Taw Estuary. Barnstaple offers a pannier market, shops, restaurants and bars, along with two fabulous sandy beaches, which are popular with surfers and families.

Region
Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

We book lots of cottages all over the UK, this is definitely one of the best, the Cottage is spotlessly clean and very comfy, the Bed is to die for, did not want to get out of it in the mornings, Plenty of TV channels to chose from as it has sky package, endless ideas for trips as the cottage has hundreds of leaflets of things to do in Devon, we went somewhere different every day.. Highly recommend the Williams Arms for the best carvery ever (Book if you go on a Sunday) Kym the owner who looks after the cottage is lovely and made us feel very welcome, next time we in Devon this is the place we will be booking.

Had a lovely week at little willesleigh accomodation was everything we wanted and much more ☺ Attention to detail was good even down to a picnic basket and blanket if we needed it.. Flowers and cream tea was much appreciated on arrival thankyou Bed was a super kingsize and very comfortable shower was powerful and very hot which was much needed after our day trips out A nice base to north Devon and south Devon and would definitely recommend this holiday cottage

Our cottage was excellent.. Very clean, cosy and very comfortable. Kym the owner was lovely very friendly and the personal touches of fresh milk and flowers and a cream tea was very much appreciated. To also have fresh towels mid week was a delight. Set in a beautiful area and very well placed for visiting the surrounding coastal areas. Would highly recommend.

This may have only been a short break but one that was so worth it.. Really comfortable and clean. The conservatory was wonderful to sit in and watch the visiting birds, it was so relaxing. The cottage is set in the quiet countryside pretty central to where we wanted to visit, ideal for our break. We would definitely recommend this cottage for a relaxing break.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Willesleigh which was peaceful and private with a lovely garden and decking area, beautiful setting.. The spacious accommodation was most comfortable, very clean with a kingsize bed, pristine white bedding and the bathroom included a good shower unit and soft, fluffy, white towels. Everything we needed was provided, plus a cream tea also, fresh flowers and the owner, Kym was very friendly and welcoming.

This little and cosy holiday let was absolutely lovely.. .. everything you need for a quite, remote holiday but all shops not far away in Barnstaple. A lovely pub literally 5 mins up the road that's serves great food. Great place for couples who want to get away from it all. The owner, kym lives next door and was lovely making sure we had everything we needed but was never intrusive and made us feel very welcome with a cream tea, fresh flowers and milk left for us. We will be recommending this beautiful place to others. Cannot fault it at all.

We had such a good time and it was made that way because apart from the Devon scenery and the exceptional food served at The New Inn, Goodleigh, the accommodation was superb - we couldn't fault it.. We have stayed in Airb&b in Australia and here and were disappointed. Kym had a cream tea waiting for us on arrival and she was always ready to help in any way we needed. It was so good to come back after a long day to Little Willesleigh.

We have stayed in many holiday lets over the years but none of them have been shown the t.. L.c. that the owner has clearly spent on this little gem. Also this was the first time that we have been given a towel change half way through the week. Kym, the owner, was very helpful and friendly and even though she lived on site she was not intrusive in any way. Would highly recommend this delightful and extremely comfortable holiday let.

The cottage far exceeds it's description.. Everything is of a very high standard and quality and well designed. It is unusual in that it is very spacious and furnished with good quality furniture and fittings. The owners are very nice friendly people who will help you if needed. Goodleigh is a quiet village with just a pub, The New Inn, which has very friendly owners who provide excellent food. There is no bus service so a car is essential although a taxi isn't very expensive.

Kym, the owner was very friendly, helpful and the cottage was a credit to her.. Flowers and cream tea on the table as a welcome to her guests was very thoughtful.. She was very discreet but was on hand if you requested anything. Location was good for reaching all the places we wished to visit and a short stroll to the local pub. The conservatory was a great place to chill-out and watch the bird life in the garden. Well recommended.

The owners thought of every detail to make a stay here comfortable and enjoyable.. They live in an adjoining property and create the right balance of friendliness/being available but also allowing privacy. The conservatory and the garden were especially welcome, beautifully cared for and the bird life marvellous. This is a fairly new venture for the owners. Little Willesleigh was first class, the gardens full of birds and in a quiet location.. Our hosts were helpful and friendly. This property has only just come on to the market so we got in but as news gets around demand will soar. Good luck to the owners in this new venture they deserve it.
