Grange-over-Sands rests at the southern tip of the Lake District National Park, close to Morecambe Bay. Formerly a small fishing village, Grange-over-Sands is now a fashionable Edwardian resort. The town offers a promenade, ornamental gardens, golf courses and excellent bird watching opportunities. Just a short drive away are Lake Windermere, the picturesque villages of Bowness-on-Windermere, Hawkshead and Cartmel.
