Within easy reach are Langdale, Beatrix Potter’s Hill Top House at Sawrey, Grasmere, Coniston Water and Grizedale Forest Park, plus the town of Cartmel is a short drive away and has a Michelin Star awarded L'Enclume restaurant and a shop that sells the famous sticky toffee pudding.
