The cottage had more space than we had expected from seeing the photographs.. It was situated in the ideal location as we had come for the great north swim.Bedrooms were very comfy & away from any noisy areas so quiet night sleep. It was a very rainy weekend so we were able to keep warm on our return from the swim & the kitchen is fantastic for family eating followed by relaxing in the spacious lounge. Having that allocated parking space right outside was brilliant & we were also able to park the other side of the cottage as there were spaces & we made sure we were not blocking anyone. Also there was a public car park over the road .
Location great for the ferry & at night loads of eating places & takeaways.
TV was great & your leaflets from the local eating places gave us a head start.
