Kendal is a market town with a reputation for shopping, resting on the banks of the River Kent and known as the Southern Gateway to the Lakes. Both Sizergh Castle and Levens Hall with its superb Topiary Garden are nearby. Kendal itself is ideally placed for exploring South Lakeland, the Yorkshire Dales and beyond. Other attractions such as Kendal Museum, the Museum of Lakeland Life, Lake Windermere and the wider National Park are only a short distance away.

11 camden building entrance is in courtyard surrounded by small businesses and rear access doors to restaurants.. Above is another flat where I had to speak to occupants to stop kids running around and jumping. That flat may have been a rental too so may not be a future problem.

The flat was extremely comfortable, clean and provided all the facilities we needed.. It's location was ideal for visiting the town centre and provided easy access to both the southern and eastern sides of the Lake District. Although poor weather prevented us from completing the number of walks we had planned, there were plenty of other attractions nearby to keep us occupied.

Tried to contact owner before stay but Unfortunately no response.. Owner seemed to have entered appartment during our stay while we weren't in, which is not how it should be I think. There doesn't seem to be temparature control of heating.

This apartment is perfectly placed for exploring the lakes.. It is right in the town centre with plenty of shops, restaurants and bars to choose from. There are lovely walks from the doorstep too. The apartment inside is modern, clean and well equipped. I would definitely recommend it to someone wanting a holiday in the lakes.

Situated in one of the many lanes in central Kendal emerging through a narrow alley onto Stromgate .. Access for parking to the rear from new road with one dedicated parking place . The flat it's self one floor up clean decorated to a high standard spacious we only used the main bedroom with king-size bed chest of drawers and a walk in with hanging rail . We picked as a base for discovering the area and were no disappointed . Lots of places to eat practically on the doorstep . I'm sure we will be back in the not to distant future.

Lovely apartment, centrally located in Kendal and a perfect base for our holiday.. Beautifully presented, comfortable place, we really enjoyed our stay and would hope to be back! Clear communication from the owners ahead of our stay, good to have parking given the town location.

Absolutely fantastic apartment! Extremely clean, tidy and has everything you need to having a fantastic time. We stayed for 3 nights and didn’t want to leave, walked into the apartment after receiving very clear instructions on parking and getting into the key safe. Was welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and even nicer touch was the milk in the fridge! Would definitely stay in this apartment again and would give it 10/10! Fantastic location was a bonus as well

The apartment was spotless, spacious and served our needs excellently.. It is in very easy reach of all of Kendal town centre. The apartment is in an excellent area to get out into the road that leads out and beyond Kendal. We have no complaints and enjoyed our stay.
