The little community of Gosforth, which is made up of a few old cottages, farm houses, and pubs that serve delicious food, is situated in the picturesque Lakeland countryside. The community has deep historical roots and proudly displays the tallest and oldest Viking Cross in England. Additionally, the church is home to numerous fascinating artefacts, including the Hogsback Tombs. The majestic mountains of Great Gable, Hard Knott, Harter Fell, and Muncaster Fell are nearby, as are the towering summits of Scafell, England's highest peak, as well as Great Gable, Wasdale, and Dunnerdale.
