Benstead Cottage consists of a kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, and air fryer, and a living/dining room with dining seating for six and Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of a king-size, a double, and a twin (zip/link, can be super-king-size upon request). There is a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail, and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed front courtyard with furniture, and off-road parking for two cars. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Travel cot and highchair available upon request. Two well-behaved pets welcome, sorry, no smoking. Guests can find a shop and pub in 0.5 miles, and within 3 miles, a beach. Benstead Cottage is your ideally situated getaway to explore the Lake District National Park, with close proximity to the coast. Area
The small village of Gosforth sits amongst beautiful Lakeland countryside and consists of a scattering of traditional cottages, farm dwellings, and pubs serving good food. The village forges links far back into the history books and proudly shows the tallest, and oldest Viking Cross in England, plus the church holds many treasures not least the amazing Hogsback Tombs. Close by are the towering peaks of Scafell - England's highest peak, as well as Great Gable, Hard Knott, Harter Fell and Muncaster Fell, whilst the nearby valleys of Eskdale, Wasdale and Dunnerdale provide breathtaking scenery. There are many local attractions in the area including Muncaster Castle, the World Owl Centre and the Ravenglass to Eskdale miniature railway. This great location has something for everyone.
