Langwathby is a quaint village resting next to the River Eden. With the Lake District National Park to the west and North Pennines to the east, Langwathby is an excellent base for a walking holiday in Cumbria. The village is home to a village green bordered by cottages, farmhouses, the Shepher's Inn pub and a shop. Home to the Brief Encounter Café, Langwathby Station is on the scenic Carlisle to Settle Railway, with fantastic landscapes, towns and cities within easy reach.
