The living areas in the property consist of an open-plan living space with a kitchen featuring an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, a dining area with seating for six people, and a sitting area with a Smart TV and an electric fire. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with an en-suite shower room and a twin, along with a bathroom. Outside, there is an enclosed back garden with patio, decking, furniture and a hot tub, an enclosed front decked area with furniture and off-road parking. Within 0.9 miles, you will find a shop and a pub. Please note that this is a pet-free and a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. A relaxing break amidst the countryside awaits at Fern Lodge. Note: Property only accepts week long bookings between 1st March - 31st October. Note: Check-in at 4pm, check-out at 10am.

Cartmel, a village in the South Lakes, is widely considered the most picturesque settlement in the entire Lake District. One of the finest ecclesiastical buildings in northern England, the Priory Church still serves as the village's focal point and gateway. There are lovely paths along the stream, a plethora of antique shops, a charming gift shop, several friendly, traditional pubs serving real ale, the highly regarded and Michelin-starred L'Enclume restaurant, and the Cartmel Village shop, where you can purchase the world-famous sticky toffee pudding. Visit the nearby Cartmel Racecourse, Campbell Legend Bluebird Exhibition, Lakeland Motor Museum, and the stunning gardens at Holker Hall, or simply enjoy the many nearby opportunities for pleasant strolls through scenic, undeveloped countryside. Windermere, with its panoramic views over England's longest lake, is only a short drive away, and the peaceful seaside retreat of Grange-over-Sands, with its Edwardian buildings and mountain backdrop, is only two miles away. Fantastic for holidays at any time of year.
