Rose Cottage is a delightful retreat situated near the village of Carnforth, Lancashire. Hosting three bedrooms; a family room, a double and a single, along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to four people. Inside you will also find a kitchen/diner, and a sitting room with woodburner. To the outside is off-road parking, and a small patio garden to the front and the use of a large grassy shared raised garden to the rear with furniture, hot tub and a barbecue. Resting in a wonderful location with pleasant views, Rose Cottage is a lovely cottage in a memorable part of England.

Area
The area just North of Carnforth has tidal sands bordering the huge expanse of Morecambe Bay. It offers plenty of pleasant walks and opportunity to see local birds and wildlife. 15 miles from the winding lanes of the Yorkshire Dales and a hop and a skip from the Lake District, it is close to absolutely everywhere. Other local attractions are the swimming pool and leisure centre at Capernwray and Greenlands Farm Village for crafts.

From heather-clad moors and limestone scars, to market towns and the steady pace of country life - the sublime Dales await you! Where else in Britain is it as satisfying to sit and do nothing as it is to explore the numerous pursuits on offer?

This is a well laid out cottage with us taking 2 dogs it was very helpful to have the enclosed garden .. Parking 2 large cars was a bit tight as one was stuck out a short way into the road .The cottage is situated in a very beautiful location and is well worth a visit with lovely local pubs and good food Nearby

Awesome place.. Meet the owner and friends at the local pub, the blacksmith arms. Food was incredible and tbe outside were great fun. While experience was perfect. That even left fresh milk, tea bags and biscuits for our arrival. Couldn't ask for a better service.

The only downside we encountered was no direct access to the rear garden for the two dogs, but this will be rectified shortly.. Very nice touch by the owner to leave biscuits and milk for us ! Absolutely lovely house and area.
