A fabulous stylish barn and stables dating back to the 1700s set in the grounds of a sheep farm boasting amazing views in all directions. Situated in a quiet but scenic location in the Cumbrian countryside, surrounded by unspoilt scenery which makes it perfect for those who like nothing more than enjoying relaxing walks in the Lake District National Park. A bridle path runs from the end of the garden, through the next door garden through a five bar gate onto the Coniston Fells. Silecroft beach is a short drive away and there are also four golf courses in the area. Popular towns to visit include Windermere, Ambleside, Kendal and Keswick. With a wealth of attractions in the area such as Beatrix Potter and Lakeland boat tours to the amazing South Lakes Animal Park which offers close encounters with popular wildlife. Upon entering this beautiful property, guests will enter the vaulted entrance hall with glazed gallery. To your right you will find the very large lounge/kitchen/diner. The dining room comfortably seats everyone for that special occasion and is next to the kitchen area. The kitchen is well equipped with a large island and seating, double electric oven and large induction hob, microwave, steam oven, American style fridge/freezer, as well as some thoughtful extras including a bread making machine, coffee machine, 6.5 litre slow cooker and wine cooler. The lounge area has a sofa and contemporary wood burner. .Also, on the ground floor there is a separate utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer. Heading into the main lounge area for another wow moment, the large glass windows look out onto the National Park with views across the countryside where the stylish wood burner gives off a warming glow. The perfect spot to watch your favourite movie on the Smart TV or choose from the extensive DVD library. Continue through the main lounge and you will find a second open plan lounge/diner. This space also has a relaxing lounge area with a Smart TV and patio doors to one of four outdoor areas with amazing views of the National Park. Head upstairs from this lounge or up the glass staircase in the entrance hall and you will find yourself on the first floor, here you will find the four bedrooms, all with Smart TVs. There is a king size bedroom with a large en suite bathroom; this bedroom also has its own small balcony. The second bedroom houses a double bed and has an en suite bathroom. Head across the mezzanine level that sits above the main lounge area and houses the double sofa bed, suitable for children under 14 years old, and is a great space to get some quiet time. with a large selection of books. The third bedroom is a double, no en suite here, however it has a dedicated bathroom downstairs. This room does have direct access out to the garden through the patio doors. The fourth bedroom and no means least, is the very large master king size bedroom complete with a panoramic windows and patio doors to a lovely glass balcony with extensive views down the Duddon Estuary out to sea. The en suite had a double ended bath, separate shower and WC. You can even enjoy the views across the National Park from the bath. Outside there are four terraces for you to enjoy, a BBQ area and a top of the range 6 seater hot tub. There is plenty of enclosed garden space to enjoy, and you can also find bike storage in the detached garage area with a bike repair stand. A tap is attached to the garage for dog/bike cleaning. There is ample off road parking available.
