Mr Savill
March 2019
When we arrived at the property, we found it warm and welcoming, which is always good after a long drive.. We found the coffee, tea, milk and some saffron buns as a welcoming pack, I must say I've had better, but it was enough to start. In the morning we noticed that the shower curtain was in need of change, so I rang the owner and he came round to change it as soon as he could, which was good.
The single beds are very small.
My only disappointment was in the kitchen, the cooker was very old and inefficient, so I would like to see a more up to date when we return, also although the fridge freezer worked ok it made a lot of noise when working so it could be on its way out, my only of the minor thought was that the garden could do with some TLC.
Other wise we are looking forward to our next stay.
Just one other thing, I you walk to the Punch Bowl & Ladle [local pub] take a torch and a high vis jacket as there's no footpath.
