All brilliant

March 2019
When we arrived at the property, we found it warm and welcoming, which is always good after a long drive.. We found the coffee, tea, milk and some saffron buns as a welcoming pack, I must say I've had better, but it was enough to start. In the morning we noticed that the shower curtain was in need of change, so I rang the owner and he came round to change it as soon as he could, which was good. The single beds are very small. My only disappointment was in the kitchen, the cooker was very old and inefficient, so I would like to see a more up to date when we return, also although the fridge freezer worked ok it made a lot of noise when working so it could be on its way out, my only of the minor thought was that the garden could do with some TLC. Other wise we are looking forward to our next stay. Just one other thing, I you walk to the Punch Bowl & Ladle [local pub] take a torch and a high vis jacket as there's no footpath.

Excellent cottage rental with everything provided, warm cosy and in a very peaceful location. The owners have been most thoughtful in setting up this rental and were most welcoming. The garden is very secure for dog. There were plenty of interesting places to visit locally. We thoroughly recommend this property.

We found this holiday rental to be the best we have ever stayed in, owner very welcoming on our arrival after long journey, and everything possible provided. Warm and cosy and very clean. Beds very comfy, bathroom shower so efficient we are going to buy similar model. Bed linen provided (good quality duvets!) only took our own towels. Kitchen modern and all equipment easy to use and there were instructions for all equipment within the bungalow. The dog enjoyed herself in the well contained garden, we had no qualms about her being out there on her own. There was a Spar shop just up the road but supermarkets in and around Truro and lovely beaches & gardens to visit within a few miles. We joined the N.Trust and visited all the gardens we could and dogs were welcome in ghe majority of the gardens, and after 1 October allowed on beaches. We would definitely rebook in this area of Cornwall, in the same property if possible!

Arriving after a long tiring journey we were met by the extremely pleasant and helpful owner who made us feel very welcome. The bungalow was spotlessly clean and comfortable and the pet friendly garden perfect for our two dogs. It was very central for exploring Cornwall and the only disappointment we had was that we only booked one week, next time it will definitely be two.

The property was very central for all the attractions in Cornwall. It was very quiet and peaceful, and the enclosed garden meant it was ideal for the dog. There were also plenty of walks from the doorstep to take the dog out. The house on arrival was immaculate and a really nice touch was fresh flowers, biscuits, tea coffee and a pint of milk. The house itself was very bright and airy. The owner was very friendly and welcoming on arrival and we were left undisturbed for the rest of the week.
