Brunnion Cottage is a single storey character cottage set in the town of Carbis bay near to St Ives in Cornwall. The cottage can sleep four people in two bedrooms which are made up of a double and a twin as well as a family bathroom. The rest of the cottage is made up of an open plan living room with kitchen, sitting and dining areas as well as an exterior utility room. To the outside is off road parking for two cars and a garden with lawned areas and patio with furniture. Set in a great situation, Brunnion Cottage can be enjoyed at any time of the year.

All ground floor. Two bedrooms; 1 x double, 1 x twin. Bathroom with a walk-in shower, WC and basin. Open plan living room with kitchen, dining areas and sitting area. Private summer house on decking to the side of the cottage.

Area
The seaside town of Carbis Bay is best-known for its beautiful stretch of pure white sand. With turquoise waters and sheltered conditions, the beach feels almost subtropical and is the perfect spot for a good old-fashioned day by the sea. The beach is also home to the Ocean Sports Centre, so if sunbathing is not really your thing, why not hire a kayak or SUP and get out on the water instead. Or why not treat yourself to a Spa day at the boutique hotel which overlooks the beach and has a fabulous terrace where cocktails can be enjoyed in the Cornish sunshine?

A very private decked area with summer house, rattan suite and coffee table, an outdoor table and chairs and barbecue for the use of guests. Two well-behaved pets welcome, fairly large dog cage if not already booked out. Sorry, no smoking. Excellent Farm Shop and pub 2 miles. NOTE: SLEEPING IS NOT PERMITTED IN THE LOUNGE. Please note: This property sleeps a maximum of 4 adults and 1 infant in a travel cot.

The owners are a most delightful and welcoming couple, there when you needed them. Very well equipped cottage, nicely but practically decorated, very comfortable. Well maintained. The bottle of wine and milk form the local dairy is a nice touch too. Pet friendly, with dog towels, quilts etc provided. The wild birds are mesmerising, watching them feed. The cottage is an ideal base to explore this lovely area, lots of information available on hand with information about the local history too. Would definitely recommend a stay here at Brunnion Cottage.

Stayed at Brunnion Cottage for the week. The location was secluded yet perfect for easy access to a most beautiful part of the country. The hosts were lovely, met us with a warm welcome offered a lot of useful advice and then waved us off after a fabulous week. Could not recommend the accommodation enough it was beautifully laid out, very clean and comfortable. Genuinely looking forward to returning in the near future. Just perfect! Just a few miles outside beautiful St Ives and within easy access of many other lovely parts of Cornwall. Brunnion House is ideal for a family or a couple and the large living area accommodates 4 people easily . The property has all the amenities you could wish for and the upstairs lounge is particularly impressive if you want to spend evenings in after a day outdoors. Patsy and Roger are the perfect hosts. There are very friendly and offer helpful advice if asked on where to eat and visit during your stay.

We had a lovely stay at Brunnion Cottage, Patsy and Roger gave us a warm welcome on our arrival and took us around the cottage and the short walk up to the field, where the dogs could go for a good run.. All the information they provide on shops, pubs, different routes to take to get to different places is excellent and well thought out, nothing is too much trouble for them. If your looking for a place without the hustle and bustle, a safe place for your dog to be able to have a good run and just to be able to chill out in comfort this is the place for you. Highly recommend, We’ll be back.

Brunnion Cottage was lovely,private and peaceful.. Everything was there that we needed and it was Comfortable, warm and cosy. The owners of the cottage were away on their holiday, but they still rang us when we arrived to make sure everything was ok. Very easy to find and the directions that were emailed to us were perfect. I would highly recommend this cottage.

The cottage has a strong smell of damp especially the double bedroom, I understand that it's an old building but we have stayed in older without a damp smell, even clothing hung in wardrobes smelt damp.. I think it should be addressed by the owners and can't understand why none of the reviews mentioned this it's not something than can be ignored because as soon as you open you can smell it.

Stayed here from 7 July, 2018 for a week. It was absolutely wonderful. Lovely owners. Dog friendly. Patio, summerhouse, shared gardens (but never saw the people in the other property). Although in countryside easy access to St Ives, the Park and Ride at Lelant Saltings and in the other direction to St Michael's Mount, etc. Have already booked for next year!

What a lovely place to stay in Cornwall.. Peaceful and although remote it is in a great position to explore Cornwall. The owners are extremely helpful and the barn was perfect with all necessary amenities, including excellent WiFi. Waking up hearing the birds and cows is just the best. Lovely summerhouse and we had a a great family BBQ at the location. We had two small dogs who had a brilliant time. Plenty of shade from them in the hot weather. A few places that I loved that are nearby. Lakeside Cabin Watermill Pub Trencom Hill (2 mins down the road, fabulous views across the coast). Gwithian Beach is amazing and dog friendly. Godrevy Lighthouse. Tehidy Woods and Portreath. Will be booking again!

Cottage exceed our expectations, the dog loved it too! Perfect location and had a really warm and cosy feel to the place - great that it was all on one level with open plan kitchen/diner/living room. Lovely summerhouse with outdoor decking. Very clean and tidy with everything you need and welcoming bottle of sparkly wine very much appreciated. Although remote directions provided were excellent and both Penzance and ST Ives are within easy reach. Owners are very friendly and really do care about their guests. We will be back.

Really enjoyed our stay at Brunnion Cottage.. The owners were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Dogs very welcome, access to few fields next to the cottage. Very peaceful, the summer house is ideal on a nice warm evening. Cottage overall had everything you need, can't fault it. Will recommend this place . You can walk to Carbis Bay, could take you an hour , you may need a survey map for that! Cottage near St Ives, Penzance, St Michael Mount, Zennor ...
