Mynheer Farm Bowji is a countryside escape set amidst peaceful surroundings yet close to the Cornish beaches of Portreath and Porthtowan. Within a short walk to the village pub and shops the property is well placed for a quiet break with amenities close by. The barn has two attractive country-style bedrooms, one twin zip/link can be super-king on request and a king-size double, each with their own private en-suite shower rooms. There is a generous open plan living room with woodburning stove, conservatory style dining area and kitchen. Outside guests have use of two enclosed patio gardens and there are over 5 acres of fields to explore and enjoy for outdoor games. Mynheer Farm Bowji is a super rural base with all the comforts of home where you can sample all the trappings of a country lifestyle whilst exploring the Cornish coastline at leisure.

All ground floor. Two bedrooms: 1 x double with en-suite shower room, shower, basin and WC. 1 x twin zip/link can be super-king on request with en-suite shower room, shower, basin and WC. Open plan living room with kitchen, dining and sitting area.

Area
Portreath is nestled in a stream valley between high cliffs. It has a secluded sandy, safe beach which is popular with families and surfers alike. The village has several shops including beach shops, a take away, several pubs and cafes, plus cliff tops for walking with panoramic seascapes.

Region
Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

Note: A pay-per-charge EV charger point is available at Mynheer Farm from January 2023 - for use by two properties on a first come first serve basis. Note: An initial basket of logs is provided, once this has been used more logs can be purchased nearby.

Brilliant holiday cottage with generous facilities, very well equipped kitchen, and powerful showers! The owners are very welcoming and greeted us with a lovely cream tea. Situated in an area for easy access to Cornwall attractions, the cottage was extremely clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful relaxing break.

We stayed at mynheer farm last year in the barn and enjoyed it so much that we decided to book again this time in Bowji.. Again our stay was fantastic and the owners Ju and Pete can't do enough for you,this really makes the your stay even more enjoyable.Pete also makes jewellery,to a very high standard I might ad,even inviting our eldest daughter to have a go at making her own earrings and a ring under his supervision,these turned out very well.The property is in a beautiful area of Cornwall with many places to go and visit nearby or afar.The standard of the Bowji is without fault,immaculate inside with everything you could want,with everything provided such as a fully functioning kitchen two bathrooms with nice powerful showers that were a joy to be in at the end of the busy days.We will be back again and would recommend these properties to anyone,oh and I nearly forgot,Ju makes some very nice jam and scones.

Really clean, comfortable and well-equipped accommodation, with a bonus cream tea ready on arrival! Owners were truly warm and welcoming - they seemed like old friends by the end of the week. The area round Mynheer is quiet and green - a good base for getting out and about in western Cornwall.
