DescriptionHoliday home Mynheer Farm Barn is a smart converted barn set in idyllic countryside near Portreath. The property sleeps four people and has two bedrooms, one double and one which can be either a twin or king size (both en-suite). On the ground floor is a kitchen and sitting room with dining area. Outside there is a sheltered patio with outdoor furniture and a barbecue, as well as access to a shared picnic area and parking for several cars. Located just 6 miles from the golden sandy beach at Portreath, Mynheer Farm Barn is a welcoming home-from-home throughout the year.
Accomodation Details Over two floors. Two bedrooms: 1 x king size with en-suite shower room, basin and WC, 1 x twin/double with zip and link bed and en-suite shower room, basin and WC. Kitchen. Sitting room with dining area.
Area Portreath is nestled in a stream valley between high cliffs. It has a secluded sandy, safe beach which is popular with families and surfers alike. The village has several shops including beach shops, a take away, several pubs and cafes, plus cliff tops for walking with panoramic seascapes.
Region Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

Note: An initial basket of logs is provided, once this has been used more logs can be purchased nearby.

An excellent holiday much due to the hosts at Mynheer Farm who were so helpful in every respect.. The "barn" was very well equiped and a joy to stay in.I would recommend this property to anyone.

We have rented cottages in Cornwall many time before and all have been very good.. Mynheer Farm did however, prove to be a cut above the rest and that was in part to our excellent hosts Ju and Peter.
It is simply a lovely place in which to stay and suited our family of three admirably. It is excellently furnished, very comfortable beds and a really lovely kitchen and lounge.
We were sad to leave on Saturday, but very much hope to pay Mynheer Farm a further visit before too long. A fabulous part of Cornwall to explore as well.

We go away for a week most New Year holidays and this is without doubt one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in.. Very central for visiting various parts of Cornwall and the owners, Ju and Pete were extremely welcoming. Cannot recommend enough!!

Mynheer Farm Barn is fitted out to a very high standard.. It is very comfortable. Everything you need is provided. Ju and Pete are very welcoming, helpful and friendly but never intrusive. The delicious home made cream tea on arrival is a lovely touch. This is one of the best self catering properties that we have stayed in, made even better by wonderful hosts. We would love to return.

A warm welcome from Peter and Ju and a quick familiarisation tour helped us settle in quickly.. We found the accomodation to be comfortable and peaceful. A perfect base for our week away.
