Positioned only three miles from the small seaside resort village of Portreath with its sandy beach and narrow harbour.

The beach is popular with both swimmers and surfers alike, as are many of the other local beaches including Godrevy and Perranporth, which are both within easy reach by car. Many other attractions are a short drive away, including St Ives with its Tate Gallery, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project.
