Large family friendly cottage in the heart of Polruan, a small fishing village in the parish of Lanteglos by Fowey in Cornwall, bounded on three sides by water. The village has two pubs and a passenger ferry that will take you across to Fowey. The neighbouring village of Bodinnick to the north is connected by a four mile walk along the hill tops. There are plenty of places to go walking from Polruan, or if it s a day out you are looking for why not head to visit the tall ships at Charlestown, take the brewery tour in St Austell or visit the Eden project and/or the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Also for those interested in stately homes why not visit Lanhydrock in Bodmin. As you arrive and open the stable door you can't help but feel at home as you enter the welcoming sociable lounge/diner with views over the boatyard to the river. This spacious room features a large dining table looking out on the river along with plenty of seating arranged around the impressive wood burner, perfect for relaxing during the cooler months. Outside there is a patio area to the back of the property which is a sun trap for the late evening sun, perfect for al fresco dining , to the front of the property you can look over the working boatyard, beyond which is the beautiful river Fowey Parking is available in the public car park nearby.
