Lily Cottage is a semi-detached cottage is situated in Pelynt near Looe, Cornwall. It has three bedrooms; one double with an en-suite shower room and WC, one king-size and one twin. There is a separate bathroom and WC. It has an open-plan living room with a fitted kitchen and dining area. Outside has a shared landscaped gardens. Lily Cottage is a lovely holiday home in the heart of the countryside. Note: This property can be booked with Refs. 999355, 999356, 1072735 and 999357, together they can sleep twenty-four people.

Area
Looe is a small coastal town in Cornwall, England, near a small harbour and along the vally of the River Looe. Looe remains a fishing town, with its fleet of small fishing boats returning their catches to port daily, Looe has a reputation for obtaining fresh fish. The town remains the centre for shopping, with many shops, restaurants and pubs nearby.

Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.

Oil central heating, woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, nespresso coffee maker. Smart TV, iPod dock, a selection of books and games and Super-fast WiFi. A tumble dryer is available which serves the 5 barns charged at £5 per load. Logs are provided on arrival and additional logs can be purchased at £5 per load. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Communal landscaped gardens with gas BBQ. Disposable BBQ's can also be purchased for guests going to the beach. Cot and Highchair (available on request). Two well behaved pets welcome (XL Bully breeds cannot be accommodated). Sorry, no smoking. Shop 12 mins walk and pub 1 mile. Bike storage (available on request). Note: Care must be taken with children in the grounds as there are open ponds. Note: Lily Cottage does have ground floor bedrooms but the accommodation is arranged over two floors

We have stayed at a number of the Cardwen Farm cottages with Lily being our favourite. Plenty space for a family with all amenities. The kids love watching the owls that live in the end of the roof of the cottage on the camera and enjoy watching them fly out at night. There are plenty of things to do within a reasonable driving distance with many beautiful beaches a short drive away.

We have stayed in both Lily and Erin cottages and just love them, they are so cosy and welcoming, you just don’t want to leave! The owners Siobhan, Clive and their son Will are such lovely people, they live on sight so are always on hand and nothing is too much trouble, even the family cockapoo Archie likes to pop in to say hello The cottages are in a beautiful setting, nice and peaceful but also very convenient for visiting Looe and surrounding places of interest. I can’t wait to revisit and would definitely recommend a stay here!

This cottage is first rate. The accommodation is spacious, well decorated, clean, warm, comfortable and extremely well located. Only a 5-10 minutes walk from Pelynt village where there are two well stocked stores. The Premier has an excellent butcher, the pork sausages were really tasty. The Jubilee Inn is a warm friendly pub serving excellent real ales and good grub. The cottage is a fantastic base to explore Cornwall. During our 8 days we visited Lanhydrock House and gardens with amazing magnolias and camelias; Cotehele House with 300 species of daffodils; Bodmin Moor, Cheesewring, Hurlers stone circles, Boscastle, Tintagel, Looe, Polperro, Charlestown and Mevagissy. We also had time to thoroughly enjoy a walk along the coastal path from Lansallos, the banks of primroses are lovely to see. The cottage has Barn Owls and the owners have set up a camera that gives a view of their nest. Amazing. The owners are friendly, welcoming ( home baked scones, jam and cream upon arrival) and helpful. Thanks Siobhan, Clive, Will and Archie for helping us have a fantastic weeks holiday. We hope to visit again

Lovely, inviting cottage in a great location. Enjoyed the woodburner which made the nights snug and cosy. Even got to see the live footage of the resident owl! Hosts Clive & Siobhan were really welcoming to us and the whole place is very dog friendly. Our pooch loved it there. Definitely somewhere we'd like to come back. Thank you.

This cottage had the wow factor when we walked in. The vaulted ceiling and décor was fab. Dog friendly beaches and pubs nearby, the friendly owners left us a cream tea. We enjoyed the log fire that we found ready to light. Beautiful gardens and very easy to visit attractions around Cornwall. Recommend!

A lovely tranquil rural location ideally situated for exploring SE Cornwall and adjacent parts of Devon.. Our trips out included Talland Bay with cliff-top walk to Polperro, Looe, Seaton, Plymouth Hoe and Barbican, Morwhellam Quay, Lantic Bay, Cawsands, Antony House, Polruan and Fowey. Cottage very comfortable. Owners very friendly and helpful.

This was a really great cottage and has been one of our favourites, there was a warm welcome from the owners and their beautiful friendly dog.. Set in the peace and quiet of a beautiful garden over flowing with Camila bushes. We intend to go back later in the year and possibly a lot more times to come.
