Bell Cottage, a holiday home in the grounds of Kenegie Manor is delightfully close to Penzance with Jubilee Pool a restored 1930s open air lido - shops, restaurant and bars. Three bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin and 1 x single sleeping five guests. The family bathroom with bath and shower over is on the first floor. The ground floor consists of a comfortable living room with door to the patio and a kitchen/diner. Outside is the patio area and communal grounds to explore. This is an ideal base for families and friends to explore this wonderful part of Cornwall and a great place to retreat to at the end of a busy day. Note: The swimming pool and bar are open February to October inclusive.

Marazion in Mounts Bay is a buzzing seaside community with a large stretch of beautiful golden beach for sandcastles, swims and boating adventures. Enjoy the restaurants, galleries and coffee houses. St Michael's Mount is the iconic part time isle reached via a cobbled causeway at low tide or ferry jaunt at high water.

Have just returned from a stay in this lovely cottage. My Grandson was appearing in a play at the Minack Theatre and we used the cottage as a base to cover the bank holiday weekend of performances. We therefore did not make use of the facilities in the Manor Grounds itself, but it all looked very friendly and well maintained. The cottage itself was ideal for us. 3 adults, a 10 year old and a small dog. The kitchen was very well equipped with all that you could ask for. The lounge was very comfortable and wifi was excellent. The beds were very comfortable and a good nights sleep was had by all. Everything was good quality and we were all very satisfied with our stay. The only thing missing was a toilet roll ! after a 5 hour journey, we had to go to the shop to purchase some !! an oversight I am sure ! The outside space was comfortable with chairs and table back and front . We would all return again and would certainly recommend this property.

The cottage is on an excellent location to explore Cornwall.. It has plenty of parking. The cottage has a lovely cosy lounge , great kitchen facility and very comfortable large bedrooms. It was perfect for one dog and a family. It’s quiet with a great outdoor space at the front and back of the property to relax on the table and chairs provided. It has fast WiFi, good 4G and a tv dvd and selection of DVDs to watch. Highly recommended for a family holiday.

The location of the cottage was good easy to drive to st Michaels mount, Penzance, Newlyn, mouse hole, Lands end - St Ives.. we covered as much of the coast line we could. The facilities on site i.e. swimming pool, play area & shop was great to entertain the grand children. plus the selection of DVDs left in the cottage. Very safe environment for the children. Loads of parking places & the bar was a pleasant place to have a drink in & play pool. Would recommend to more family members and friends. Kind regards Martin Green

a nice cottage in a good spot however we my wife and i had problems. television rubbish awfull reception. problem not sorted despite phoning sykes, they passedc it on to the absent owner who lives in south east england,no reply, but,the worst problem was the lack of safety in the bathroom we are both in our eighties and sometimes need support.the bath which was small with shower han no bath mat or any hand holt to hang on to when getting in or out of the bath. a big health and safety problem whcd the owner or sykes should have dealt with. i supose the insurance would cover any mishap

The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped.. There was no telephone reception and no wifi. It got a little chilly in the evenings but the electric fire sorted this ok. The cottage had been unused for a couple of weeks prior to our visit and we noticed a number of cobwebs and spiders in residence there were also cobwebs behind the furniture. The facilities on site were nice and the staff very friendly The food in the bar was good and reasonably priced. The pool and sauna were a nice extra but i think they would be over crowded during busier seasons, as they are quite small. overall a nice quiet week which we both found very relaxing we have agreed we would both be happy to return

Very good space & facilities to relax & enjoy our holiday.. The bed was very comfortable, as was the lounge furniture. Easy parking & good central location to explore the area. Only comments for changes would be to check the key codes, & wifi in the cottage would have saved us having to sit in reception area to connect. The owner did have a note that she is trying to have wifi connected already. , so that’s good. The reception staff at front area were extremely helpful & friendly. Lovely Cottage, really well equipped except for the fridge which was far too small for a family of 4 who wanted to self cater! The lounge was really comfy and cosy, some really nice touches such as the blankets. Loved the big corner sofa. Bedrooms were lovely and big and beautifully simply decorated with some great finishing touches. This cottage has lots of thoughtful touches such as the storage unit in the bathroom, the basket of board games, the pile of DVD's and the gorgeous scones and clotted cream on arrival. The only slight downside is Kenegie Manor itself, it's all a bit run down, the shop opens erratic hours as does the restaurant. The one night we went to use it they had stopped serving food early as they were too busy..... They did helpfully supply us with numbers of takeaways that delivered to the Manor though!! Amazing area to visit would highly recommend Mermaid pleasure boats - we went out and saw seals and dolphins. Also the Minnack Theatre had a great children's show - fabulous fun for everyone. Would also recommend Tremenhere Landscape Gardens just minutes from Kenegie Manor, we had a lovely lunch there and beautiful and interesting gardens.

The location of Bell Cottage was perfect for visiting safe beaches and local attractions, or walking along the coast, but it was also a relaxing haven if you didn't want to venture far.. It was superbly equipped and we particularly loved the spacious end bedroom. Everything was clean and well maintained, and we felt very much at home for the week. This was a perfect holiday cottage for us!!

The cottage was nice and well equipped.. There were a few maintenance issues that had been reported in the Visitors Book on several occasions but had not been corrected but apart from these issues we liked the cottage. We were NOT impressed with Kenegie Manor (the site). The pool was very small, the bar was scruffy and we were unable to get any WiFi.

The cottage was excellent, really well equipped and we felt at home straight away.. I want to mention three things though. 1. The toilet seat was broken and this had been mentioned a number of times in the visitors book going back 12 months. It still hadn't been sorted 2. The cottage was very clean apart from a large number of cob webs in every room and harvestman spiders attached to them. Again this had been mentioned in the visitors book 3. The fridge needs replacing. Food was either frozen or warm Having said all this we would definitely go back. We loved our week there.

Excellent location near fantastic beaches and Coves.. St.Ives only 15 minutes drive away. Facilities at the Manor o.k. shame everything has time restrictions e.g. swimming pool only open twice per day. Bell Cottage was comfortable, clean and had everything in the kitchen needed to prepare a meal. Shame there was no Wi-Fi anywhere on the complex

The cottage was very clean, well equipped, good sized rooms, beds extremely comfortable.. Unfortunately the on-site club service was generally very slow especially for meals and bar choices were disappointing. No convenient doggy walks.
