Withan Farm Wing forms part a listed farmhouse, surrounded by lush green countryside and just over 2 miles from the famous Helford Village. Situated on a working livestock farm and attached to the owners home, it offers very comfortable accommodation with plenty of character. The property sleeps five with three bedrooms, a single on the ground floor and a double and twin bedroom on the first floor. There is a bathroom on the ground floor and a shower room on the first floor. On the ground floor is a large sitting room with wood burner, kitchen and separate dining area, perfect for family meals. Visitors of all ages will enjoy the spacious garden, with its apple trees and sheltered sun terrace for alfresco dining and there is ample parking. Withan Farm Wing is a superb retreat for those looking to enjoy the stunning scenery of the Helford River.

Over two floors. Three bedrooms: 1 x double and 1 x twin on first floor. Ground floor single with en-suite shower, basin WC. Shower room with shower, basin and WC ground floor bathroom with bath, shower over, basin and WC. Kitchen, dining room, sitting room with wood burner.

Area
Helford is a picturesque village on the south side of the Helford River. Helford is very popular with its thatched cottages, excellent village stores and especially The Shipwrights Arms, right on the edge of the creek with its waterside terrace. Just a short walk away is Frenchman’s Creek, immortalised by Daphne du Maurier. The Helford River Sailing Club is very popular and a regatta is held every August. In the summer a passenger ferry runs to Helford passage, the home of the Ferryboat Inn, and nearby to the gardens of Trebah and Glendurgan. The wildlife on the Helford River is diverse and a birdwatcher’s paradise.

Beautiful house in beautiful surroundings.. Everything you could need is provided along with lovely little finishing touches, and the cream tea was much appreciated on arrival after our long journey. Most highly recommended for a relaxing, comfortable stay in the peaceful countryside, perfectly situated for exploring the gorgeous areas of Cornwall on its doorstep. Would love to return.

Withan Farm Wing was probably the most homely cottage we have stayed in.. It really is like home from home. It is lovely and spacious and so well equipped. We lovely stay there and it is in a beautiful part of Cornwall.

The cottage was lovely and very well equipped by the very hospitable owners.. The situation is very peaceful and the rooms are comfortable and airy. It is a walk through fields and woods from Withan Farm to Helford, Frenchmans Creek and the Costal path which was great on the first and last days when we did not want to drive. Milk, scones, clotted cream and jam together with fresh local Apple juice was much appreciated on arrival. We would certainly stay again.

A very comfortable, clean well equipped cottage.. Friendly and helpful hosts. Extremely peaceful with lovely gardens and surroundings. Be sure to follow Sykes instructions getting there. Satnav takes you down some very interesting narrow lanes! An ideal location for exploring Cornwall and thoroughly recommended.

A lovely week's stay at Withan Farm.. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable, plenty of room for a family of 5. We were even treated to a cream tea on arrival which, after a long drive, was a nice way to start our holiday.

We were made to feel welcome by the helpful owners who live onsite.. Lots of local information and leaflets provided. Accommodation very spacious and comfortable, with everything we needed. Withan Farm will be on our list of places to return to in Cornwall.

We thoroughly enjoyed the holiday and the accomodation was ideal for the 4 of us.. It would work well for a family or 2 couples. I guess that no dogs is a slight drawback as the area is so dog-friendly but is understandable with the cattle on the farm. The location is perfect for exploring The Lizard across to Landsend and north of the Helford river.... something for everyone!
