The Apple Loft is a characterful barn conversion on the Boconnoc Estate, the east wing of the owners home on a working farm near Lostwithiel. The property sleeps four people in two bedrooms; a galleried double and twin, plus a family bathroom on the ground floor with both bath and separate shower. The open plan living area with kitchen, dining and sitting area has beams and a curved wall. Surrounded by meadow and picturesque countryside, the enclosed garden has a lawn and patio with garden furniture for alfresco dining, with a barbecue, plus off road parking for one car. Located three miles for lerryn shop and village pub, and a 30 min drive from Fowey resort, The Apple Loft makes a restful retreat for both rural and coastal adventures.

Over two floors. Two bedrooms: 1 x king-size double. 1 x twin on the ground floor (please note more suited to children). Ground floor bathroom with bath, separate shower, basin and WC. Open plan living area with kitchen, dining and sitting area with woodburning stove.

Lostwithiel is a delightfully peaceful country town, nestling in the Fowey river valley amid the woods and fields that characterise the area. Renowned as a centre for the antiques trade, there are several shops and dealers, as well as a fine collection of country pubs, restaurants and a thriving farmer’s market. Lanhydrock House (NT) and gardens is just 3 miles away, while the fabulous Boconnoc House, Eden Project, shipwreck museum and tall ships harbour at Charlestown, and the picturesque fishing villages of Mevagissey, Fowey and Padstow are within easy reach.

Apple Loft is a beautiful, secluded cottage on a working farm.. The peace and quiet only disturbed by the sounds on the sheep and cattle. The cottage is homely, with everything you need to make your stay a good one, with even home made biscuits on arrival. Unfortunately the owners were on holiday while we stayed, but a lady who works there was around and she was brilliant. Our son got to feed the lambs several times, as well as helping with the horses, ducks and chickens, memories which will stay with him forever. Would certainly recommend Apple Loft to anyone wanting to explore Cornwall.

This cottage was lovely and maintained to a very high standard.. The peace and quiet was lovely and it was very easy to access the farm by car. Very close to beautiful areas of Cornwall. Chris and Vicky the owners were friendly and helpful. Bisto the dog was a delight. Would absolutely recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to stay in this area.

A really enjoyable break in a beautiful, quiet, calm location.. The Apple Loft was just what we were looking for. It was comfortable with large bedrooms and lovely big bed. Nice touches included TVs upstairs and downstairs, a laundry room and helpful local advice from the owners. Recommended.

Fantastic holiday cottage connected to a farm house in a real working farm.. Excellent location, very quite at nigh. Plenty pf fields to walk the dog. Unable to fault the location. Owner very helpfully.

Sykes were very good with communication and the booking was smoothly administrated.. We added a further two adults to the booking a few days before our arrival date and Sykes took care of the amendment very quickly and sent us a revised booking confirmation by email. The cottage was great and we had a wonderful time at the Apple Loft, its a lovely cottage well away from the hustle and bustle. The contained courtyard and small garden was a godsend for our excitable puppy who thoroughly enjoyed zooming around the garden at every opportunity. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Having the woodburner in the evenings was a great addition. We would definitely visit again.
