The closest town being the Cornish market town of Liskeard which has all the amenities one could ask for. To the north lies Bodmin Moor with some fantastic walks and views over the old mining engine houses that symbolise Cornwall's proud past. To the south is the coast with the villages of Looe and Polperro remaining popular with the seasonal tourists. Here you can relax in one of the many cafes, bars and restaurants on offer. Attractions include The Eden Project, The Adrenalin Quarry, Kart World, Siblyback Segway adventure, the Monkey Sanctuary and for the cyclist Cardinham Woods. There is an abundance of facilities onsite including a shared heated outdoor salt water pool (open from beginning of May to end of September), tennis court and boules court.
