On the ground floor is a kitchen and a shower room. The first floor has an open plan sitting area and dining area with traditional wood burner in a feature brick fireplace. Outside there are substantial gardens, raised patio area and off road parking for one car. The Summer House is a stunning property for a couple seeking a romantic retreat.

Helston lies at the western gateway to the Lizard Peninsula, where there is lots to explore, from quaint traditional fishing villages to a spectacular coastline and some forgotten coves and beaches. Helston is a pleasant busy market town famous for its Flora Day Festival and “Furry Dance” which happens in May.

Cornwall's visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain's premier holiday destinations.

Off road parking for 1 car. Raised patio with furniture, extensive gardens lawns and pond area. Sorry no pets, smoking or children. Shop within 2 miles, pub within a few minute drive. Note: No washing machine although shared use of the owners washing machine & tumble dryer.

Our holiday at Summer House was by far the most comfortable and relaxing self-catering holiday we have ever booked.. Shirley and Chris have provided everything you could need, in a tranquil setting and with exceptionally high standards. The property is unique and perfect for a holiday for two. Having our own private outside space made for lovely breakfasts and evenings. Summer House is located well for exploring Cornwall and the fact we have rebooked for next year already shows how much we loved our holiday.

This cottage was by far the very best we have ever stayed in -- it was superb! Everything about it was just perfect … the owners Shirley & Chris were the perfect hosts. The cottage itself was out of this world -- so pretty and imaginatively styled.. full of art works and everything was quality in the best condition. The whole place could not be faulted . That is before I mention the location -- a fantastic garden setting with private sitting area -- shade if required -- a bigger garden that opens to the public was ours to explore as well -- it was just heaven ….and, best of all a fantastic tearoom although it was much more than this on site which served exquisite food. The whole place is a credit to Shirley & Chris and I am sure we will return again soon. More places like this please !

The Cottage is lovely well equipped in the most beautiful gardens and feature ponds.. There is a wonderful on site tea room which comes highly recommended . The owners are very helpful and a delight nothing is too much trouble, one if not the best cottages and location we have stayed in.
