This delightful barn conversion is just over one mile from Falmouth and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. There is an open-plan living room with dining and kitchen area with door to the enclosed rear garden with decked area and lawn with garden furniture. There is also off road parking for one car. The beach at Swanpool is a 10 minute stroll away with Maenporth and Gyllyngvase a little further. Falmouth's cobbled streets are home to shops and galleries, the National Maritime Museum and traditional inns. Situated on the coastal footpath, scenic walks begin from the doorstep and guests have private access onto the golf course, making Willow the ideal venue for ramblers and golfers.

All on one level. Two bedrooms: 1 x double, 1 x twin 2'6" (zip & link to make king-size double on request. Bathroom with bath with shower over, WC and basin. Open plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area.

Area
Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbourside pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry VIII, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes).

Well we have had a number of Sykes cottages and they have all been really really good if not perfect in most ways and we have always enjoyed and had a really good rest and lovely time.. However with Willow the kitchen was a NIGHTMARE... so very small and totally unmanageable. If you turned around you bumped into one side. If you made a mistake of having a door open you suffered for it. Also if both of us tried to do something we’ll forget it completely. I know a lot of people always eat out but we like to do a little of both and certainly for a couple of days stay in and rest ... well this just didn’t happen .. so sadly NO we would not go back again. Also I do ring up during my holiday there to Sykes and got no response from the young lady dealing with me most upset as Sykes are always usually so goood and helpful... sorry that this is a saga but you have asked for feedback a couple of times ...

We really enjoyed our stay at Willow cottage.. With the beauty of the Cornish countryside all around and a very short walk to the coast path across the glorious golf course, made staying here perfect for our break in Falmouth. The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable, with an enclosed rear garden, making it brilliant for our dog.....we will certainly return.

It was an excellent cottage , well equipped and was so lovely to , that they had got milk and butter and cake when we arrived.. There was also washing up liquid,towels and toiletries. What more can you ask for.

Great house, everything there that you could possibly need.. Fantastic location, great walks from doorstep just disappointed that the house could of been cleaner! Floors throughout were dirty they needed a good wash as socks and feet picked up the dirt! Toilet flush needs to be looked at but apart from that the house was comfortable, warm and cosy.

We loved our stay in Willow, it met and exceeded our expectations.. Great secure garden for our young Border Terrier made life easy, wonderful walks on the doorstep, beautiful setting and views, very well equipped cottage, just perfect. We had a small problem, needed help with the TV, the response from Sykes was immediate and in fact the Owner rang us from his holiday to talk us through what we had to do. Excellent customer care. Thank you and we hope to revisit soon.
