Oak Lodge is a cosy detached cottage situated on the outskirts of Constantine, Falmouth. Hosting two bedrooms; a double, and two twin rooms, along with a shower room, this property can sleep up to four people. Inside you will also find an open-plan living area with sitting, kitchen and dining area, and electric fire. To the outside is off-road parking, and a decked area with furniture to the front and hot tub. Located in a pleasant setting with peaceful surroundings, Oak Lodge is a heart-warming cottage in a delightful part of England.

Area
For nature lovers and those who enjoy boats, the misty reaches of the Helford river meander upstream to Gweek, where the world renowned Seal Sanctuary lives. Falmouth, with its narrow streets, natural harbour and National Maritime Museum is just 20 minutes by car. The nearby Lizard Peninsula, with its outstanding beaches is also worthy of a visit.

Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.

Electric central heating with electric fire. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off-road parking. Decked area with furniture to the front and hot tub. Sorry, no pets, no smoking. Shop and pub 1.3 miles. Note- Decking will be slippy when wet. Note- Children to be supervised at all times whilst on the decking.

Lovely lodge in a nice rural setting. Thats about as good as it got unfortunately. The Hot tub didn't work properly and lost temperature within minutes of switching on water jets which meant you couldn't stay in it for very long. Also the double bed mattress was so soft it was too uncomfortable to sleep on. Because of the above we cancelled our booking on the day after arrival. Shame as we were really impressed with the cabin space and having a hot tub but these 2 issues dampened the entire experience. SYKES cottages were useless and refused to refund ANY of their commission for the booking so beware when booking with them. Still took 10 days to get my partial refund back into my bank account and I only got this after threatening legal action

A beautiful place, so peaceful. The lodge was spotless and very well equipped with everything we needed especially in the kitchen. Wonderful hot tub used everyday and evening. Only 15mins drive to Falmouth for a day trip. We went to Helford Passage well worth a visit to the beach only 10 mins away. The Red Lion was very nice in Mawnan just down the road. We were 4 adults and 2 kids, we had a great time relaxing in the peace and quiet. There are lovely walks around the lodge in the woodland which the children loved. With only 2 other lodges around you there was no choice but just to chill out. If you need supplies there are 2 small shops in the village 2 mins drive into Constantine and about an hours walk there and back. Be warned quite hilly. All in all we have had a wonderful stay will recommend to family and friends.

Near to Falmouth and only 30 mins from all other harbours, beaches etc. Location is perfect in the middle of nowhere by a wood, peace and quiet to relax in the lovely hot tub. Plenty of room for children to play outside. The cabin has everything you could need for a holiday. Highly recommended.

Lovely place.. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. Has every comfort , great location for surrounding attractions and a wonderful hot tub when the day is over. Really Well Done! So glad we choose Oak Lodge.

We had the most amazing time at oak lodge, the lodge was in the most beautiful setting , and very clean and comfortable .. My two children aged 8 and 4 really enjoyed our stay too and there was so many places of interest and beauty close by. The hot tub was fabulous after long walks along the stunning coastlines Cornwall has to offer. Anne was a lovely host and very helpful. Cant wait to return in the future. Miss it very much.

The lodge is lovely and equipped with everything you need for your stay .. Landlady and son helpful with any questions or problems . Hot tub lovely and made the stay even more enjoyable .

Lovely lodge with everything provided, including fresh scones, and superb hot tub ready to go.. Great location , in touching distance to so many nice attractions Highly recommend This was a perfect get away for my family of four, including m2 daughters , aged 8 and 6

5 of us stayed comfortably at Oak Lodge.. It's in a lovely location and you feel nice and left alone. There were other neighbours, but we did not feel they or we disturbed each others privacy. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get away somewhere quiet and the hot tub was just lovely.
