Falmouth will keep you entertained for hours with its stunning natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding alleys, and beaches. The town's historic taverns along the harbour, first-rate stores, art gallery, and spectacular National Maritime Museum only round off the experience. The most well-known sight in Falmouth is Henry VIII's Pendennis Castle, which is situated on a peninsula with stunning panoramic sea views. The lovely village of St. Mawes is located across from Falmouth Harbour and is encircled by the rocky coves, sandy beaches, and verdant landscape of the Roseland Peninsula. Take the passenger boat from Falmouth or drive the 15 kilometres there (15 minutes). Swanpool Nature Reserve, a lagoon and site of special scientific significance teeming with a variety of animals, is available for anyone who like the outdoors. There is a golf course as well. Falmouth has such a wide range of attractions and a beautiful setting that it is guaranteed to entice you back time and time again.
