Adjacent to the property is an enclosed private patio with an outside tap, making it ideal for dog owners or surfers who need to rinse off their surf boards and wetsuits. Crantock's legendary sandy beach is only a short walk away, making the cottage perfect for surfers, beach lovers and those looking to walk their dog. The Beach House is also ideally located in the village, with all amenities in walking distance. Crantock has its selection of pubs, a grocery store and a number of attractions, meaning you don't have to worry about driving all over. Fully fitted and well-equipped, the kitchen at The Beach House has everything you need for your stay. With Silestone worktop, electric oven and hob, fridge with freezer compartment, wine cooler, dishwasher, remote control extractor fan and microwave, it's a home away from home. Just a short walk away from the property, you will also find the Gothic church of St Carantoc, a Grade I listed building that is still active today. If you're looking to explore the wider range of attractions that Cornwall has to offer, then the Beach House is a perfect hub for couples with local road connections easily accessible. Area
Crantock is a small Cornish village set back from the coast close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There's stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. Enjoy superb walks along the coastal path over dramatic cliff-tops, or magnificent surfing on beaches stretching from Watergate Bay in the north to Fistral beach in the centre of Newquay and on down the coast. There are a number of golf courses in the area, National Trust properties, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants. Newquay itself is a visitor's paradise with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, as well as attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Newquay Zoo and nearby Dairyland and Eden Project.

The cottage is in a wonderful location with a short stroll to either the beach or local pub.. The cottage itself is ideal for two although there is no washer/dryer available.

Beach Cottage was a brilliant find, very close to Crantock beach and wonderful walks along the sand dunes and coastal path.. Beautifully clean cottage and lots of extras for us to enjoy and use. The owners living next door were very hospitable and friendly.

An excellent appartment in a great location.. Has everything you want for a holiday at any time of the year. Janus, the lady proprietor was lovely and was available at anytime to answer ant queries we may have had as her house is adjacent to the appartment. The appartment is only about 100 yards from the beach and a few minutes walk from the village. We went at Xmas time and the village lights are superb. It was just like visiting a 'Winter Wonderland'! All in all a lovely place to stay and we intend going back there again in the summer.

The only thing that people need to be aware of is that there is no en suite and you have to go up and down stairs in the night to the toilet.. The owners here are delightful with out being intrusive, the property is spotless and a couple of minutes from the most glorious beach. We had a fabulous time!!

We visited the Beach House in 2016 and loved it but the recent renovations have escalated it to another level! The work has been done to a very high standard and everything has been done thoughtfully to make your holiday extra special. The position is first class, just 4 mins to the dog friendly beach one way and in the opposite direction 2 pubs, tea rooms and local shop. The owners who live next door are very helpful and friendly without interfering. Looking at other cottages for next year I doubt we'll find anything to match up, the Beach House has spoilt us so we'll certainly be back I would recommend it to even the fusiest holiday maker!

Just got back from a wonderful week staying at the Beach Cottage Crantock.. Wonderful location close to most beautiful beach ( 3 mins walk) and village amenities similar distance . Great local pub. Accommodation is lovely. Spacious downstairs living area/ kitchen and large bedroom upstairs. All very clean and modern. Owners live next to property . This would normally put me off slightly but Janis and Godfrey are most welcoming and do not intrude in any way. They are there if you need anything or need any local knowledge. My only comment, but not a criticism as it is a personal point of view, is that there is no clothes washer/ dryer.There is a dishwasher ,but for 2 people I would rather have facility to wash clothes than wash dishes. As it happened we had great weather so no dirty muddy walking clothes. I highly recommend The Beach house as a fantastic place to stay.

Lovely cottage in a great location a few hundred yards from the beautiful crantock beach.. Well equipped and comfortable but marked it down slightly on accuracy as is advertised as having wifi but there is only wifi signal in the bedroom. Wasn't a big problem for me (quite nice to shut off from the world!) but my husband is self employed and wifi was a key driver when choosing our holiday. Needs a booster or its own supply. Everything else couldn't be faulted on this lovely place owned by a lovely couple!

The beach house and its owners are both equally lovely, the property itself is well equipped and has everything you need for a holiday.. Janis and Godfrey were very helpful upon arrival and were on hand if we needed them but also left left us to it and did not intrude which was great. The house is very close to the beach (a couple of miutes walk) and the village in the opposite direction. We have already booked for next year.

The accommodation was everything it said it was.. Perfect hosts who made some excellent suggestions of where to go. Wifi not brilliant but the hosts are aware and doing all they can to rectify this.
