If sunbathing isn't your thing, rent a kayak or SUP from the Ocean Sports Centre. Or, enjoy a spa day at the hotel, which overlooks the beach and has a great terrace for cocktails in the Cornish sun. Carbis Bay has shops, restaurants, a fish & chip takeaway, and a railway branch line. The train ride from Carbis Bay to St Ives is one of the country's most beautiful.
