Take a short walk into Bude's town centre, where there are a variety of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants, while a golf course, leisure pool, tennis court, clifftop walks and a sandy beach can also be found around the town.

Further afield there are plenty of wonderful seaside towns and villages to visit, including Padstow, Port Isaac, Boscastle and Tintagel, while over the border in Devon, Clovelly, Hartland and many others are also within easy reach. Travelling slightly further into Cornwall, take a day out to visit The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Land's End, the open air clifftop Minack Theatre, St Ives or Bodmin Moor.
