The Coach House is a beautifully converted barn situated just outside the town of Bodmin in Cornwall which can sleep four people in two bedrooms, which are a double and a single as well as a family bathroom. Also in the property is an open plan living room with kitchen, dining and sitting areas. To the outside is off road parking for two cars and a veranda with furniture. Situated in a stunning location, The Coach House is a beautiful place to enjoy at any time of the year. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome. Note: This property accepts a maximum of 21 night bookings, any more than 21 nights and unfortunately, the booking won't be accepted, please enquire first for bookings more than 21 nights. Please note: no infants or children under 8 years allowed.

Area
Bodmin, with its narrow streets, shops and pubs, is perfectly placed for exploring all that this fabulous holiday area has to offer. The outstanding surf, rugged cliffs and hidden coves of the north coast beaches and the quieter sands and river estuaries of the south coast are both 15 miles away while on the edge of town is the fascinating museum and haunting presence of the old Bodmin Jail. The popular Camel Trail for cyclists and walkers also winds its way through the town on its journey to the sea at Padstow

A wonderful little property, perfectly placed to explore Cornwall.. Once you drive down the short farm track to the cottage you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere yet you have all the amenities you could want within a 5 minute drive. It is very well appointed and John is a fantastic host... extremely welcoming and helpful yet unobtrusive, and the cream tea he provides on arrival is a lovely touch. It provides the perfect getaway whether you want a peaceful relaxing break or to spend your time exploring. It is also extremely dog friendly, with some great walks pretty much on the doorstep, so our little dog enjoyed his stay as well! I can't recommend The Coach House highly enough.

The Coach House was lovely and the owner Mr John Butler was really helpful and recommended lots of places to visit with our dog, because of him we went to some stunning places.. we were welcomed by John with a lovely cream tea, The Coach House was not only clean but had everything in it that you would need. The little touches made a massive difference, there were plenty of games, films and tv channels for if we were staying in on an evening and there was even a torch at the side of the bed if needed. Thank you John for a wonderful stay.

The house was lovely, very clean, all facilities.. Wanted for nothing! Jon the owner was very helpful and friendly and we were welcomed in with an amazing cream tea! It was a family holiday and the cottage suited us 2 adults and 2 kids plus dog very well. Great location for accessing all of beautiful Cornwall. Nowhere was too far. Wish we’d stayed longer!

The Coach House is a beautifully furnished cottage and had everything we needed for our stay.. Attention to detail is first class, including a comprehensive library of reading material about Cornwall. The location a few minutes from Bodmin but close to major roads means quick access to routes to other areas of Cornwall. The cream tea waiting for us on arrival was the "icing on the cake". The owner, John gave us good tourist information about the Bodmin area and Cornwall. A great cottage that exceeded our expectations.
