Bramble Barn is a lovely and cosy open plan studio cottage situated in the grounds of the owner's home, on their farm, in a hamlet location, near the village of Lanivet and town of Wadebridge. This single-storey cottage sleeps two people and has an open plan living/sleeping area with a king-size bed, kitchen, dining area and sitting area, along with a shower room. Outside there's off road parking for one car, a patio with furniture and use of a lawned garden with patio and furniture. Bramble Barn is a charming base with the whole of Cornwall just waiting to be explored.

Area
Lanivet is a small village close to Bodmin and Wadebridge. The village has a selection of picturesque properties, a pub and a few shops. Bodmin has a shopping centre and local attractions include the Bodmin and Wenford Railway, the Camel cycle trail, and Bodmin Jail with its courtroom experience. Also close by are Bodmin Moor, the National Trust’s Lanhydrock House and the stunning Eden Project.

Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.

After a long drive down it was lovely to arrive to a cream tea and pasties, tea and milk. Such a lovely place well laid out, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean! And don’t get me started on the bed, it was like sleeping on a cloud. Best nights sleep I’ve had in ages! Great place for dogs, we left the door open for our dog to run in and out with a good enclosed piece of lawn to play ball on! Owner’s property is just over the way but you’re not overlooked and they don’t use your driveway. There are sun chairs hidden away behind a high fence so plenty of privacy if you want to sunbathe or just sit quietly with a good book! Great place to relax and unwind. Would highly recommend 5* Thank you Matt and Claire we had the best time!

Very comfortable cottage and very centrally placed for sightseeing.. We saw from lands end to Bude and found some lovely beaches. Minack theatre was a highlight but remember to book your tickets. The cottage was extremely dog friendly with a safe small paddock for them to run in. Both the owners Matt and Claire were very accommodating and helpful. Just one suggestion- a tumble dryer would be a great benefit but not a necessity. Loved it here we had a lovely memorable holiday. Scones and pasties were delicious thank you.

Fantastic week at bramble barn 10-17 th july.. The lovely owners live next door and greeted us on arrival . We had a nice surprise of delicious pasties and scones, jam,cream. We took our two dogs and they were very welcome .lovely enclosed garden with furniture so nice to sit outside on the evening. The barn was spotlessly clean and well equipped. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Loads of places to visit in the area and found some beautiful beaches which were dog friendly. We have already booked again for next year and would highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic break.. After a 5 hour journey arrived at Bramble Barn to a very nice pastie and cream tea. Very comfy base to explore Cornwall. Bramble Barn has all you would ever need for a relaxing break. Large king-size bed with quality bedding. Our dogs loved the enclosed garden, it's a shame the weather wasn't to good otherwise we would had spent some time lounging in the decking area. The owners even put some chicken wire at the bottom of the gate to stop our small Yorkie from getting out. We even had a guided tour of the owners small holding. Thank you very much for a great week hope to see you again next year.

First can I say what friendly hosts matt, clare where, their area knowledge was brilliant, yummy delicious goodies on arrival, our dogs loved it too.. , we choose this as our honeymoon base, the area was lovely explored lots, I would definitely recommend this cosy barn for a getaway and bring your furrys. The barn was cosy, warm and very inviting, everything was in its right place, they supplied towels and even a info book. They're where helpful, the free range eggs where a bonus. The kitchen was supplied with milk, sugar, coffee, tea, and towels for shower. We are definitely coming back, and would definitely recommend this to friends and family. Thank you matt and clare and the furrys. Mr and Mrs moon.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay! As someone who travels frequently for work, this place went above and beyond my expectations. Think of this place as a mini house, fully equiped with everything you would find in your own homes. Washing machine, cooker, oven, toaster, heater, tv, comfy bed, the list goes on!! If your ever around this area I would highly highly recommend you booking this place. My stay was so comfortable and cosy and Matt and his family were always available to cater to my needs. In a nutshell- PERFECT.

We enjoyed our stay at Bramble Barn immensely, everything was perfect, it was very clean and comfortable and the hosts were superb, we were welcomed with a Cream tea, and a Pasty which was lovely.. The location was great as not far to any of the main resorts and attractions, We thoroughly recommend this comfortable accommodation, and without hesitation hopefully return one day.

We had a lovely welcome of Cornish Pasties and a cream tea.. There was milk in fridge. The owners were really helpful and lovely people. Although the cottage was quite small it had everything we wanted it was warm cosy and a bed you didn't want to get out of. They say good things comes in little parcels. well this little cottage certainly was a great little parcel. It had a large closed in garden which was wonderful for us as we had our little dog with us . The location was great as It was reasonably close to all the tourist towns and villages, and great for places to walk. If we have another holiday down in Cornwall we would not hesitate to book this cottage again.

A fabulous little cottage and a perfect base for exploring Cornwall.. The owners, Matt and Clare made us feel most welcome and nothing was too much trouble. There are only a couple of minor points :- 1) I think that it was advertised as a 'one bedroom property' but was almost a studio type - one room with a (very nice) bed at the end and with a folding screen in front of it.. 2) We thought that there ought to be more shelf space in the bathroom - only one very small shelf above the sink. Overall though it was sufficient for our one week's holiday.

The hosts were extremely welcoming into their beautiful barn, which was extremely clean, well equipped and very comfortable.. On arrival we were greeted with fresh Cornish pasties and milk which we were touched by. They couple couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming and were happy to help us during our stay. We had a lovely time at Bramble Barn, perfect for the two of us and the dog. Would definitely recommend and visit again. It's setting is perfect, nice and quiet but a short drive to the coast and towns.
