Area Blisland is the only village in Cornwall to have a tree-lined village green, and it sits beneath the western edge of granite-bound Bodmin Moor. All around the green are historic homes and cottages, as well as the prestigious Blisland Inn. Less than three miles separate the village from the A30, making it a prime base from which to explore the rest of Cornwall. The Camel Trail, a 17-mile path that leads from Poley's Bridge to Padstow along an abandoned steam-engine railroad line, begins in the area. Pedestrians and cyclists will enjoy this path because it is devoid of cars. You can ride horses along the trail, and there's a special hide for birdwatchers between Wadebridge and Padstow. Put on your hiking boots and discover Bodmin Moor or pack a picnic and spend the day at one of the many stunning beaches that dot the northern coast of Cornwall. A beautiful region that everyone can enjoy.
Region Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
