This 4-story house in the heart of historic Sibenik is in a ideal location for exploring the city and for walking around in the evening. It has a very well equipped kitchen and easily accommodates 5 people. Neither the house nor Sibenik itself would be appropriate for anyone with a disability due to the steps everywhere. We were greeted kindly with the key when we arrived. The house was spotlessly clean and has 3+ bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, a small balcony at the top overlooking the plaza where a very nice restaurant is located. The negatives are few: parking is a real nuisance and expensive in Sibenik. Because of the tiny, pedestrian only streets, there is no option, but we immediately got a ticket when we went to look for change for the meter. The house doesn't have a microwave, and (oddly) no smoke detector, which considering the kitchen is on the bottom floor, is actually quite a hazard. Interhome were not at all helpful with directions to the house, assuming we would have a navigation system, and didn't provide this even when asked twice. We only had cold water in the evenings and didn't discover where the boiler controls were. Very little storage for clothes as all the wardrobes and drawers were full of spare linens. Overall though our stay was lovely and we would recommend this place for couples, families or small groups.
