We had a fantastic time staying at the railway cottage.. The cottage is well equipped, clean and in a perfect location. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs all within walking distance and the train station is very close but also doesn’t cause any disruptions. We will definitely be back!!

Very difficult to open the key safe on arrival at the cottage, and then opening and locking the entrance door took a while, as the actual lock was worn.. The oven did not work at all and when using the top of the cooker, the buttons which had to be pressed to operate the rings were difficult to manage, and there were no instructions in the cooker manual on how to use the top. People with arthritis in their fingers and wrists would not be able to use those buttons. We did speak to the owner about the key safe, door lock and oven not working when we were leaving the cottage on July 5th. The lighting could have been better as the cottage is dark. The square bowls provided for cereals etc are too big to stack properly in the dishwasher, and consequently when they came out of the machine we had to wash them again ourselves. The quality of fittings and furniture was very good, and the bed very comfortable.

This was our second year in my old birth-place of many years ago.. All very homely and comfortable ,and if required a goodly supply of toys for the tots. As we had to spend a day indoors because of Storm Callum the management of the TV without any instruction booklet was quite trying. Would also like to request better lighting for the lounge otherwise all hunky-dory and looking forward to next year.Thank you.

This is the second time we have visited this cottage with our friends who kindly booked for us. It is cosy and has everything you could wish for including a lovely wood burner. The kitchen is well-equipped and there is an outer room for boots and coats etc. ( I want a "Croeso" mat!) The living-dining room has patio doors which lead onto a small area overlooking the railway with a table and chairs. Perfect on a sunny day for drinking cocktails and waving to the kids on the little trains...There is a modern well-designed bathroom with a great shower and the bedrooms are comfortable and clean. I love staying here with our friends, watching & listening to the trains go by and exploring beautiful Betws and surrounding areas. In summer or winter this place has different, but equally lovely qualities and things to offer. I would definitely highly recommend and we now tend to return each year with our friends because there are so many great things to do right on your doorstep, and we never tire of doing them and returning back to such a warm & welcoming property.

Our third time staying here. Location is so perfect for exploring Snowdonia and its right in the heart of Betws-y-coed which is like a home from home for us. The cottage has everything and more than you need and although we wont be making it four years in a row we will definitely return. Thank you

Fabulous place at a great price in a central location.. The only negative is the trainline. If you sleep in the front bedroom with the window open, the 6am train wakes you every morning.

We enjoyed staying in the cottage very much and it was in an excellent location, in a quiet spot but in the centre of Betwsy-y-Coed. It was lovely to sit on the patio with a cup of tea watching the little trains. The town is in a beautiful setting and we enjoyed exploring the surrounding area.

The cottage had a cosy feel but was finished to a high standard. The underfloor heating meant that it was very warm, which was very useful as the weather was pretty wintry.

This cottage is absolutely beautiful and is perfectly located right in the heart of Betws-Y-Coed. There is so much to do locally that a week can fly by so quickly. Everything in the cottage is of the highest standard and was a perfect base for our adventures and we hope to be able to visit again one day. One thing to be aware of is this cottage is actually BIGGER than the photos make it look. I'm used to getting to holiday cottages and finding they are much smaller than they look!

They say it is all about location and Betws-y-Coed delivers on that as a great base to explore Snowdonia. The cottage was a delight, quirky from first impressions. Located in a group of back to back railway cottages, but beautifully furnished and appointed in a contemporary style. The infrequent local trains are a point of interest and not disturbing. Our group of four adults would recommend 3 Railway Cottages to our friends. Thanks.
