SPECIAL COMMENTS ON RE-OPENING OF INSIDE FACILITIES
PARK - Lodges re-opened last year and although the site looks good, clubhouse facilities have only recently re-opened, so see below.
AUTUMN 2023 - BODMIN PARK UPDATE
PARK - Lodges are open, the site looks good but see below for clubhouse changes.
Inside: 16th October - Andy Bellerby Park Manager update 'The bar, restaurant and swimming pool will close on 29th October for the remainder of the season. We plan to keep the gym open however, this will be dependent on any further potential works that may be planned in for the main building over the coming winter months.
Footgolf has also ceased trading for the winter period, as yet I don't know when the operator is planned to re-open for 2024.
There are some planned development works on the park, this may start as soon as the 6th of November however, it's likely to be early January 2024. I'll keep you updated when I have firm details.'
Outside: Fishing Lakes are open, as are: Footgolf (shut for season), Tennis Courts and Escape Room.
Comfortable lodge with all necessary facilities. Pool, clubhouse, restaurant and cafe all available on site. Car is essential to access all of Cornwall's fantastic villages, beaches and coastline. Very close to the Eden project and plenty of lovely places to eat within 20 minutes drive. We particularly liked The Lewinick Lodge in Newquay and the Polgooth Inn in Polgooth.

We were so surprised on entering the lodge, to see just how spacious and welcoming it is.. Comfortable sofas, beds and lovely bathrooms.
The facilities were great for our self catering. Waterside staff were very friendly and helpful, the fishing on the Woodland Lake was great.
A great base and location for touring both the north and south coasts, the highlights being Trevone, the Eden Project and most of all Screech Owl Sanctuary.
We will be back next year with my folks.

Had a wonderful holiday in Cornwall.. The A Frame home was just perfect for our family of five. It was clean and well equipped and the big bathrooms were a great surprise. We had amazing weather so the outdoor space was great for the kids to play on. The Waterside complex was above our expectations - modern, friendly staff, good food, warm pool, lakeside terrace and great kids play area.

Quiet location and lovely accommodation and setting. Work was going on in the reception area and bar but it didn't bother us. Pool nice and warm and pleased it was opened to 10pm. Missing a dish that was big enough to cook for 5 but borrowed a smaller one from next door and split the food. Good location to visit north and south coasts.

This is a lovely little cabin situated really close to Bodmin in the centre of Cornwall, perfectly placed to drive around the many sights in Cornwall. The cabin itself is very quaint, very clean and even has a sofa bed incase there is 6 people in your group. The dishwasher, oven, hobs and showers all work very well and the jacuzzi bath is a bonus! 5 stars I would definitely recommend to friends and we will be coming back!

Once again the lodges were, clean, comfortable and warm. The restaurant serving great food, the bar serving Sharps beers from Rock, splendid! Thing is from the lodges you are not far from Looe, Truro, Liskeard, the good. Advice, avoid Redruth, waste of a day.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. We booked last minute and couldn't believe how lucky we were.
We stayed in a 2 bed lodge which had everything we could ask for in terms of utilities. Most important, it was very clean, spotless.
We didn't use the facilities in the main building, (gym, pool, bar) as we were only there for a few days we were out and about but if staying a week or 2 I would definitely have tried the restaurant.
A great place to stay if you want your own space.

“Great property, great location. Staff need to learn customer service”
Location and property
Staff need to learn a bit of customer service. Asking for 1 toilet roll could've really helped us out but they refused to give us one. Never saw any cleaners despite being there for 5 days
